I enjoy the Irish Fair in St. Paul, so when I found out that they now host a 5K run, I signed up. 5K's are normally good for "free" (post registration fee) T shirts, but this race also came with free beer. Hooray! Here's me after the race with my free beer at 10am.

On August 18, 2007 I'll be running the Helsinki City Marathon. Helsinki may seem like a strange destination at first, but I'm doing this for a good cause (and with good people!).
Bolder Options, a non profit that works with at-risk youth by engaging them in running & cycling programs by pairing them with individual mentors, is putting together a team of marathoners to raise money for the program and head to Finland to complete the 42.195 km (26.2 mile) run.
